Managing Exchange Servers

X.400

The X.400 service message transfer agent (MTA) stack, which is located in Protocols, provides addressing and routing information for sending messages from one server to another. The X.400 stack is conceptually equivalent to the virtual servers of other protocols.

To use X.400, you must first create a service transport stack and then install an X.400 connector. The connector and stack must be the same type: TCP/IP or X.25.

The Queues container in X.400 contains message queues for all messages. You can manage the queues by right-clicking each queue and using the commands on its context menu.
