Mailbox Objects in the Result Pane
When you select the Mailbox node under Recipient Configuration, the result pane lists the mailbox users, resource mailboxes, and linked mailboxes in your Exchange Server 2007 organization.
Important: |
---|
Although Exchange 2007 supports shared mailboxes, it is a de-emphasized feature. You can only use the Exchange Management Shell to manage shared mailboxes. Shared mailboxes are not displayed in the Exchange Management Console. We recommend that you use resource mailboxes or Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server portals for collaboration instead of shared mailboxes. To learn more about converting a shared mailbox to a resource mailbox, see How to Convert a Mailbox. |
When you select a mailbox, the action pane displays the actions that you can perform for the selected mailbox. The actions available for the mailbox are listed under the mailboxes' name. For information about the actions available for a mailbox, see Recipient Configuration > Mailbox > Mailbox.
To focus on a set of mailboxes that have specific attributes, you can use a variety of expressions to filter the list. For more information about filters, see How to Filter the Result Pane.
