This section provides information about the offline address book (OAB) commands can be run in the Exchange Management Shell in Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. Microsoft Outlook uses the OAB to provide offline access to Active Directory directory service information from the global address list (GAL) and from other address lists.
You can use the following offline address book commands to manage OABs, OAB virtual directories, and to update the File Distribution Service.
