Use the Move Options page to specify options for the move. You must specify either Skip the mailbox or Skip the corrupted messages. The other options on this page are not required.

Skip the mailbox

If you click this button, any mailboxes with corrupted messages will not be moved. Mailboxes without any corrupted messages will be moved.

Skip the corrupted messages

If you click this button, the wizard will not move corrupted messages, but will attempt to move the mailbox.

Also, if you click this button, you can use the Maximum number of messages to skip box to specify the maximum number of messages per mailbox to skip. If this maximum number of messages is reached, the wizard will skip the entire mailbox. The move operation will be rolled back, and the mailbox will not be moved from its source location. No action is taken on the corrupted messages. The mailbox will remain unchanged at the source location.

Note:
The number range for the Maximum number of messages to skip box is from 0 through 2,147,483,647. Entering 0 has the same effect as clicking Skip the mailbox. The wizard will not skip any corrupted messages. It will skip the mailbox if it finds any corrupted messages.
Global Catalog

Select this check box to specify the global catalog server in which to perform search operations in the target forest. If you select this check box, you must click Browse, and then use the Select Global Catalog dialog box to select a global catalog. If you do not select this check box, Exchange will select a global catalog server automatically.

Domain Controller

Select this check box to specify the domain controller in the target forest to use to write to Active Directory. If you select this check box, you must click Browse, and then use the Select Domain Controller dialog box to select a domain controller. If you do not select this check box, Exchange will select a domain controller automatically.

Exclude rule messages

If you are moving a mailbox from Exchange 2007 to a database on an Exchange 2003 or Exchange 2000 server, and the mailbox has rules that total more than 32 kilobytes (KB), the move will fail and the mailbox will not be moved from the source location. To avoid this, you can select this check box so that the rules are not moved along with the mailbox.
