Monitoring Server uses Message Queuing to ensure reliability when processing data. Before you associate a Front End Server or Standard Edition server with Monitoring Server, you must install and configure Message Queuing on that server.
For details on how to install Message Queuing on both Windows Server 2008 computers and Windows Server 2003 computers, see Install and Configure Message Queuing for Monitoring Server.
To monitor any Front End Servers or Standard Edition servers where Message Queuing was not already started when Office Communications Server was installed, you will probably have to manually start the Quality of Experience (QoE) Agent service on those servers. To start the QoE Agent service on those servers, use the following procedure after you install Message Queuing on those servers.
