With Migration Wizard, you can migrate mail from any messaging system that supports IMAP version 4rev1. The Internet Directory and Internet Mail components of Migration Wizard work together to provide a complete, standards-based solution for migrating users from a variety of Internet mail systems.
With the Internet Directory component of Migration Wizard, which consists of an LDAP source extractor, you can create an LDAP user list file from your Internet directory. Then, using this file, Migration Wizard can extract the messages from each IMAP mailbox, convert them to migration file format, and place them in an Exchange mailbox. Migration Wizard retains the folder hierarchy of each IMAP mailbox when migrating messages, so users don't have to reorganize their mail archives.
