You define and configure your topology by using Topology Builder. The starting point for this process is determined by whether you want to use a topology that you designed in the Planning Tool:
- If you used the Planning Tool to design your topology and want
to use the file you exported from the Planning Tool as the starting
point for your topology, you can use the first procedure in this
section to import it into Topology Builder. After importing it, use
the other two procedures in this section to define and configure
your topology in topology builder.
- If you do not want to use a Planning Tool topology design, skip
the first procedure in this section, and use the other two
procedures in this section to define and configure your topology
directly in Topology Builder.
